I’m Catherine Gunarso, a modern calligrapher, artist, and educator based in Marin, CA.

Everlace Design Co began as my little corner of creativity, where I could teach calligraphy and watercolor and help others discover the calm and confidence that comes from creating with your hands.

In 2025, my path took a beautiful turn when I took over The Shack in Larkspur, a beloved neighborhood ice cream shop. What began as a business opportunity quickly became a mission: to build a community space where art, joy, families, and creativity can all live together. Today, The Shack is home to my workshops, a cozy art corner for kids, and a place where people come to slow down and reconnect.

As a mom, I understand how rare and precious creative time can be. My workshops are designed as gentle, welcoming escapes, moments to breathe, paint, letter, and feel like yourself again.
