Learn how to paint watercolor poppy, daisy, rose, peony, lavender, tulip, various leaves, and more!

In this basic watercolor floral course, we will talk about the basics of watercolor, which supplies to get, color theory and color mixing, basic leaf, and petal strokes, and basic floral composition.

Class supplies that will be provided and for you to take home:

- synthetic squirrel round brush

- 300gsm watercolor paper pad

- Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolor Paints 

- folding watercolor palette

I will also provide a variety of watercolor supplies for you to try during the class, give product suggestions and answer any questions to help you build your own watercolor starter kit. This is a valuable experience as you get to try and compare different brands without having to buy all of them!

This is an interactive class where I provide hands-on adjustments and students can ask questions at any point during the class rather than just watching me paint. If you are not comfortable with hands-on adjustments, please let me know ahead of time.
