About The Event
This is a waitlist for my Intermediate Calligraphy Workshop. By registering to this event, you are showing interest in the class and you will be the first to be notified once a class is published.
This Intermediate Calligraphy Workshop is for students who have taken a beginner workshop or who know the basic of pointed pen calligraphy.
If you have never used a pointed pen before, I highly recommend taking a beginner class first.
In this class, we will learn how to:
- explore different style of calligraphy
- digitize your calligraphy
- write in a straight line when doing place cards/envelope addressing
- do basic flourishing
- work with metallic inks
- use flexible nibs
And, you will get plenty of personal adjustments from the instructor throughout the class
You will also have the chance to try metallic inks and a variety of nibs.
This is the class that I wished was available when I started exploring calligraphy deeper. A chance to troubleshoot any difficult inks/nibs, to try out different inks and nibs before deciding which ones to purchase, and to just chat with fellow calligraphy students!
Ticket is $175 per person
Please bring your own calligraphy supplies.
You will need:
- a practice pad
- a pen holder
- your favorite nib/nibs (or any nibs that you have difficulty using, we can troubleshoot it together in class)
- black ink and/or your favorite inks
At the end of the class, you will be able to purchase any nibs that you have tried.
If you would like to purchase a kit, please let me know when registering so I can get them ready. An additional $25 will be charged.
As always, class is kept small (max. 6 people) so I can focus on each student and give plenty of hands-on adjustments when needed.
Full address will be given once registered.
